Medlar Cottage is full of charm, with old beams, rafters and thick stone walls. It features a wood burning stove, modern kitchen, and a pleasing mix of antique and contemporary furniture.

The cottage has an attractive and comfortable ambience, accommodating five people, with an en-suite master bedroom, a large single room on the ground floor, and a lovely twin room with French doors opening out on to a small cobbled patio.

Parking is available for two cars, and the cottage is fully equipped, with bed linen included in the rental cost. Towels can be provided at an extra charge per person. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.

To the rear of the cottage there is a sheltered barbecue patio and you can wander around the gardens at will. (Young children should be supervised in the vicinity of the ponds and stream.) Positioned close to the perimeter of a Naval Air Station there can be days when the tranquillity of the setting is disturbed by the activity of helicopters and aircraft, but this does not detract from the beauty of Medlar Cottage.
